WetEdge
Privacy Policy
Effective November 6, 2026
This policy explains what information WetEdge ("WetEdge", "we", "us") collects through the WetEdge app and website at wetedge.app, how we use it and the choices you have. In short: we use information only to run the Service, we never sell it, and we don't show ads.
Two kinds of people use WetEdge
- Companies and their staff: pool, spa, screen enclosure and outdoor living builders that sign up for WetEdge, and the people they invite.
- Their customers: homeowners and others who receive a proposal, contract, change order or customer page from a Company, or fill in a Company's website form.
If you're a customer of a Company, that Company decides what information about you goes into WetEdge and how it's used; WetEdge stores and processes it on the Company's behalf. For questions about your information, or to have it corrected or deleted, please contact the Company first. We'll help them with your request, and you can also write to us.
What we collect
- Account information: name, email address, role and company for each user, and sign-in records.
- What Companies enter: customer names, phone numbers, emails and addresses, notes, appointments, estimates, prices, proposals, contracts, payment schedules, messages, photos and files.
- Signing records: when someone signs a document through WetEdge we record the name typed, the signature drawn, the date and time, IP address, device and browser details, consent to sign electronically and, when used, the emailed code check, the type of photo ID and its last 4 characters (never a photo or full number of the ID), and location if the signer allows it. This record protects both the signer and the Company if the signature is ever questioned.
- Website form requests: what a visitor types into a Company's quote-request form, the page it was sent from, and the IP address (used to stop spam).
- Customer uploads: files a customer sends through an upload link.
- Basic technical information: error and security logs kept by our hosting providers, such as IP address and browser type.
How we use it
- To run the Service: show your data to the right people in your Company, send the emails you ask WetEdge to send, and deliver proposals, contracts and customer pages.
- To keep it secure: prevent fraud, spam and misuse, and keep each Company's data separate.
- To support you and improve WetEdge, and to send account notices (for example, trial or billing reminders).
- To meet legal obligations.
We don't sell personal information, share it for advertising, or use one Company's customer data for any other Company.
Who helps us run WetEdge
We use a small number of service providers, under agreements that only allow them to process data to provide their service to us:
- Supabase: database, sign-in and file storage.
- Cloudflare: website hosting and email routing.
- Resend: sending emails from WetEdge.
- Google Fonts and jsDelivr: fonts and code libraries loaded by the app (they receive your IP address and browser details when files load).
- A payment processor, once paid plans begin, to take card payments. WetEdge doesn't store full card numbers.
We may also share information if the law requires it, to protect the rights and safety of people or the Service, or as part of a sale or merger of WetEdge (in which case this policy would continue to apply).
Cookies and storage on your device
WetEdge doesn't use advertising or tracking cookies. The app stores your sign-in session and, so it can work without internet, a copy of your Company's data on your device. Signing out removes the sign-in; the offline copy can be cleared in your browser settings.
How long we keep it
- A Company's data is kept while its account is active, and for 30 days after it ends so the Company can ask for a copy. Then it's deleted, and backup copies are removed as those backups expire.
- Companies can delete records (including signed documents) themselves; recently changed records keep a short change history so mistakes can be undone.
- Website form requests are kept with the Company's data, on the same terms.
Security
Information is encrypted in transit, access is limited by company and role, signing links are long and random, and we review our security regularly. No system is perfectly secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security, but if a breach affects your information we'll tell you as the law requires.
Your choices and rights
You can see and update most of your information in the app. You can ask us for a copy of your information, to correct it or to delete it by writing to support@wetedge.app. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local law (for example, in California). We'll respond within the time the law requires and won't treat you differently for asking. If you're a Company's customer, we may pass your request to that Company.
Children
WetEdge is for businesses and adults. We don't knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child's information has been entered, contact us and we'll remove it.
Changes to this policy
We'll post any changes here with a new effective date. If a change is significant, we'll let account owners know by email or in the app before it takes effect.
